
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has said that the United Kingdom (UK) expatriates have the opportunity to contribute more to the development of Bangladesh.
"The UK expatriates have the opportunity to contribute more to Bangladesh's development as the cooperation of expatriate Bangladeshis is needed to develop the infrastructure, information and technology, power, energy, extraction of mineral resources, planned urbanization and communication sectors as developed world. Investment in these sectors is very profitable," he said.
He was speaking as the chief guest at a function organized by the Mayor of Red bridge in the UK to mark the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh's independence, a press release said.
