The first Board Meeting of the Bangladesh Fire and Explosion Research Centre (BFERC) was held today, 7 May 2026, at its office in Banani. The meeting focused on strategic planning and future activities for the coming year, including organizational development, official launch preparations, and other key initiatives of the center.
The meeting was chaired by Chairman Brig. Gen. Engr. Ali Ahmed Khan and attended by Member Secretary Prof. Dr. Easir Arafat Khan, board member Engineer Jakaria Jalal, and other distinguished members. Among those who joined the discussion were Engr. Rafiqul Islam Talukdar, Dr. Ilmoon Kabir, Mollah M. Amzad Hossain, along with several members participating online from Australia and other locations.
During the session, the board discussed important strategic issues and outlined future action plans to strengthen BFERC’s activities and impact in the coming year.
The meeting concluded successfully with thanks extended to all participants for their valuable contributions and support.
