Merina Chowdhury, wife of Azam J. Chowdhury, President of LPG Operators’ Association of Bangladesh (LOAB) passed away at Square Hospital in Dhaka on June 19.
She was the sponsor director of Prime Bank vice chairman of East Coast Group (ECG).
Her Namaj-e-Janaza was held in Kulaura, Moulovibazar after Esha prayers on the day, followed by the burial there.
Mrs. Chowdhury was associated with a wide range of social welfare activities beyond her professional commitments. She was known for her largesse in extending healthcare and education services to the underprivileged section of society.
