The government has appointed Shaikh Yusuf Harun, a retired senior secretary, as new executive chairman of Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA).
Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification recently regarding the appointment, which will come into effect from July 6.
The contractual appointment of incumbent chairman Paban Chowdhury will expire on July 5.
Yusuf Harun retired as a senior secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration on May 9 this year.
