Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury has inaugurated Walton Solar Ecosystem at the company’s corporate office in Bashundhara, Dhaka, highlighting the potential of solar energy to meet Bangladesh’s growing electricity demand.

After the inauguration, the minister inspected solar panels, energy storage inverters, batteries, solar-powered refrigerators, air conditioners, televisions and other electrical appliances displayed at the exhibition.
Walton Hi-Tech Industries Chairman SM Shamsul Alam, Vice-Chairman SM Ashraful Alam, Managing Director SM Mahbubul Alam and other directors attended the event.
