The seminar was jointly organized by the RU Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Bangladesh Energy and Power Research Council (BEPRC).
The inaugural ceremony of the seminar, held at the Faculty of Engineering Gallery, was attended by BEPRC Chairman Muhammad Wahid Hossain as the chief guest and RU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Professor Mamunur Rashid as the special guest.
The seminar was presided over by IQAC Director Professor Md. Abu Reza. The welcome address was delivered by IQAC Additional Director Professor Monimul Haque and the vote of thanks was given by Additional Director Professor Kamal Uddin.
Dr. Hasan Mahmud, Director (Innovation) of BEPRC, presented information and data on the introduction and activities of BEPRC in the technical session of the seminar.
Papers were presented there by Salma Sultana, Deputy General Manager of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC, and Professor Md. Shafiqul Islam of the Department of Petroleum and Mining Engineering at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.
BEPRC Director Professor Rashed Kamal discussed on the presented papers.
