Dhaka, August 15, 2026 - The 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) was held on Saturday at InterContinental Dhaka, where shareholders reviewed the company’s financial performance and strategic direction.
The meeting was chaired by Md. Shahriar Kader Siddiky, Chairman of IDCOL and Secretary of the Economic Relations Division (ERD).
A. B. M. Abdus Sattar, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office and a shareholder of IDCOL, attended the AGM.
Other attendees included Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Director of IDCOL and Secretary of the Finance Division; Mirana Mahrukh, Director of IDCOL and Secretary of the Power Division, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources; Mohd. Ahsan Kibria Siddiqui, Director of IDCOL and Additional Secretary of ERD; Omar Sadat, Barrister-at-Law, Director of IDCOL and Managing Partner of Sadat Sarwat and Associates; and Md. Abdur Rahman Khan, IDCOL shareholder, former Secretary of the Internal Resources Division and former Chairman of the National Board of Revenue.
According to the financial results presented at the AGM, IDCOL earned an operating profit of Tk 558 crore in FY2025.
The AGM approved a total dividend of Tk 124 crore from the company’s FY2025 profit. The dividend comprises Tk 62 crore in cash, which will be paid to the government, and Tk 62 crore in bonus shares.
The bonus shares will increase IDCOL’s existing paid-up capital from Tk 938 crore to Tk 1,000 crore, strengthening the company’s capital base and supporting its future financing activities.
The AGM also provided an opportunity for IDCOL’s directors and shareholders to assess the company’s financial performance and discuss its strategic direction for the coming years.
