Dhaka, 03 January, 2023 (PR) - A seminar on “Localizing of Sustainable Development” was organized jointly by Innovation & Development Associates (iDEA) Foundation and International Research Center SIMEC Institute of Technology. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Vice Chairman of iDEA Foundation and former Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister and Principal Coordinator of SDG’s Affairs was the chief guest.

 

 

The keynote speech was presented by Curtin University Sustainability Policy (CUSP) Institute, Australa Director Professor Dr. Dora Marinova. The special guest was head of the school of management and marketing department of Curtin University, Australia Prof. Dr. Julia Richardson. Also, the speaker was the advisor consultant of SDG Action Research Dr. Moazzem Hossain, Managing Director of Circular Economics Pte Ltd. Dr. Asif Siddiqui, Principal Researcher, iDEA Foundation Hossain Samad, Chaired by President of SIMEC Institute of Technology Professor Dr. Md. Monirul Islam.

 

Md. Abul Kalam Azad said, requested women and youth to come forward in the implementation of SDGs and as a result, their skills will increase. It will be easy to speed up local development with the help of local public representatives, mentors and everyone.
