ULAB organized two innovative events named 'Greening ULAB' to promote waste recycling with a creative twist, said a press release.

 

Greening ULAB is a leading, comprehensive campus sustainability programme led by the Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB).

 

A workshop 'Using PVC banners to make bags' was organized by Greening ULAB-CSD in collaboration with the Sustainable Development Club to support students make use of banners to create useful products recently.

 

Rokeya Tabassum Maton was the trainer of the workshop who trained over 30 students the process of bag making with easily available waste materials such as banners.

 

An Environmental Art Workshop was organised by Greening ULAB-CSD during recently, in collaboration with the Art Club at ULAB. Tejosh Halder Josh, a faculty member of the Fine Arts Department, Dhaka University, was the trainer for the workshop.
