8th June 2026

Dhaka, June 8, 2026 (PR) - Fresh LP Gas celebrated World LPG Day 2026, reaffirming its commitment to providing safe, trusted, and clean energy solutions to households across Bangladesh.

This year's World LPG Day is being observed globally under the theme "LPG: Pass it Forward", recognizing the role of LPG in promoting cleaner energy, better health, and a more sustainable future for generations to come.

To mark the occasion, Fresh LP Gas organized a tree plantation program at the MGI head office, demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability and the connection between clean energy and a greener environment. Fresh LP Gas, a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), serves approximately 5 million customers across Bangladesh.

MGI Director Tanveer Mostafa inaugurated the program along with Abu Sayed Raza, Chief Marketing Officer of Fresh LPG; Atiq Uz Zaman Khan, Chief Human Resources Officer; Syed Toufiq Uddin Ahmed, (PPM, NDC), Executive Director, Admin; Sazzad Hossain (FCMA), Senior GM, Audit; Saleh Ahmmad (FCMA), GM, Accounts and Md Hossain Mahmud, Senior Deputy GM, HR.

Speaking at the event, Tanveer Mostafa said, "World LPG Day reminds us of the important role that clean energy plays in improving people's quality of life and protecting the environment. As a responsible organization, Fresh LP Gas is committed to expanding access to safe and reliable LPG while supporting initiatives that contribute to a greener future."

As part of World LPG Day, Fresh LP Gas launched a nationwide tree plantation initiative at its offices, all four LPG factory complexes, and through its network of over 250 distributors. Distributors are planting trees at their business locations, and an online campaign encourages broader public participation.

The company also invites the public to participate by planting trees at home, including on balconies, rooftops, or other suitable spaces, and sharing photos or videos on Fresh LP Gas’s social media platforms. Selected participants will receive special gifts.

We anticipate that this collective initiative will facilitate the plantation of approximately 2,000 tree saplings across the country, making a significant contribution toward environmental conservation and the vision of a greener Bangladesh.
