Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations nuclear watchdog, Reza Najafi, has stated that US and Israeli forces struck Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters on Monday during a meeting of the 35-nation Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), he said, “They attacked Iran’s peaceful and safeguarded nuclear facility again yesterday.”
When asked by Reuters which nuclear site had been targeted, he replied, “Natanz.”
