GTCL’s newly constructed 30” diameter 150-km high pressure Bogura-Rangpur-Saidpur gas transmission pipeline at Pirganj TBS in Rangpur was inaugurated recently, said a press release on Wednesday.
On behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Petrobangla chairman Zanendra Nath Sarker, Energy and Mineral Resources Division additional secretary Md Humayun Kabir and Gas Transmission Company Limited (GTCL) managing director engineer Rukhsana Nazma Eshaque unveiled the plaque and lit the gas flame.
The PM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 10041 infrastructure projects, and 157 development projects under 24 ministries and divisions across the country through video conferencing from Ganabhaban.
Among the projects, there are 24 development projects of the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, 23 development projects of Petrobangla and 6 projects of GTCL.
