Bangladesh has exceeded the milestone of 11,000 megawatt (MW) of electricity production. The country generated a record of 11,059 MW power recently.
The power sector has crossed the earlier record of 10,958 MWs electricity generated on May 28 this year, an official release said.
On March 19, Bangladesh exceeded the milestone of 10,000 MWs power production, it added.
A total of 10,137 MWs electricity were produced on April 24, 10,147 MWs on May 22, 10,699 MWs on May 26 and 10,825 MWs on May 27.
