Dhaka, 27 February, 2019:OMERA Gas One Limited will supply LPG (Auto Gas) at Tk 42 per liter in the country from March 1, 2019. Special price will be applicable for auto gas-operated vehicles at all the gas stations of Omera in many places of the country. The offer, named 'One country, tone price', was announced at a press conference held at east Coast centre in Gulshan, Dhaka today (27thFebruary, 2019). OMERA Gas One Ltd. is a Joint venture Company in between Omera Petroleum Limited And Saisan Company of Japan.
Toshiyuki Shimbori,Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Omera Gas One Limited; Kamal Hossain, General Manager (Sales and Technical); Tanver Azam Chowdhury, Director and Business development manager, East Coast Group and senior officials of the company were also present at the press conference.
At the press conference Omera's officials said, ‘The new price has been set to encourage the use of LPG as fuel for vehicles in the country. In order to make available auto gas for users, efforts have been taken to launch a large number of stations across the country.’
They said that currently the Omera LPG is being provided to the vehicles through 10 gas stations. Clean fuel Filling Station Ltd at Mohakhali, Dhaka; Sonar Bangla Service Station at 50/1 Asad Gate, Mohammadpur, Dhaka; Parkesine Products Ltd. at Sreepur, Gazipur; S. Rahman Filling Station & CNG Station at Feni (Dhaka-Chittagong Highway); EC Distribution Ltd. at Shahjahanpur, Bogra; Gul Gufur Petroleum at Kumrapara, Rajshahi; Khulshi CNG Filling Station at Khulshi, Chittagong; Dorgah Filling Station at Gazir Darga Jessore; Sonali Filling Station at Alipur, Satkhira; Hazi Ashraf Ali and Son’s Filling Station at Hazipara, Main Road, Cox’sBazar Sadar are already in operation along with LPG Conversion centers.
`In this year, Omera Gas One Limited will introduce more than 50 stations to ensure 24 hours Auto gas supply to customers at the most affordable price’, the conference said,
