
The fire broke out in a filling station in the capital's Mohakhali area came under control after half an hour of efforts. Report BSS
The fire originated in Eureka Filling Station besides Retired Armed Forces Officers' Welfare Association (RAOWA) at Mohakhali around 7:18pm today, duty officer of the Fire Control Room told BSS.
Eleven fire fighting engines rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control around 7:47pm.
The cause behind the fire and the extent of damage could not be known immediately.
None was however hurt in the fire.
