Jamuna Spacetech joint Venture Ltd (JSJVL) having it’s brand name “JAMUNA GAS” started its LPG business since the year 2000.

 

The purpose of the company is to buy, process, market, sell, distribute Transport, store, bottle dispose of and otherwise deal in all kinds of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and other petroleum or mineral products and lubricants.

 

Besides these JSJVL is authorized to import, export and otherwise deal in tanks, cylinders, storage tank, cookers, containers, tankers, stoves, heaters, domestic and industrial heating appliances, equipments and machinery etc.

 

Presently JSJVL is having two LPG filling plants.  One plant is located at Bogra and the other one is in Mongla port industrial area. More than 400 nos of permanent and temporary workers are working in these two plants.

 

JSJVL is having its own import terminal at Mongla port Industrial area where the filling plant, storage tanks, Jetty etc are located.

 

At present, JSJVL has storage capacity of 3,300 MT. Within few months the storage capacity will be increased up to 6,000 MT.

 

JSJVL supplies LP gas to Industrial, commercial and domestic customers all over Bangladesh.

 

In both the plants JSJVL refills more than 25,000 cylinders per day and these are being transported all over the country most by our own transports and some of our dealers carry the bottles by their company transports.

 

JSJVL’s sister concern J.B. Cylinder Ltd is an LPG Cylinder manufacturing company. J.B. Cylinder Ltd manufactures around 1,800-2,000 LPG cylinders per day of different size daily in our cylinder manufacturing factory, which is located at Bogra, This is a semi- automatic plant and we have started to modernize this factory soon for making it a fully automatic one to increase the production capacity.

 

In addition to our factory production J.B. Cylinder Ltd also imports a good number of LPG cylinders every year from abroad to meet the requirement of our customers.

 

Compressed natural gas is a very popular auto fuel and mostly and exclusively used in vehicles in Bangladesh, where there is supply of natural gas.

 

The stock of natural gas may be exhausted in near future if new gas fields are not discovered in the onshore or offshore. Keeping in mind the future gas demand and supply situation, JSJVL has already planned to set up 500 Auto LP gas stations and 50 of LP gas conversion stations by the side of the national highways in the country. To ensure steady supply of LPG in remote places to different bulk Customers filling stations of JSJVL and supply of LPG future auto gas stations JSJVL is already having 18 of road tankers and 6 more new road tankers will be joining in the fleet within few weeks.
