Dhaka, January 20, 2019 (EP): Considering environmental issue and longevity of engine BNO Lubricants, a product of Lub-rref (Bangladesh) Ltd, for the first time has introduced ‘Nynas’ and ‘Nano’ technology in engine oil for Power, Automobile and Manufacturing Industry.

Nano technology in lubricant is aimed at attaining fuel efficiency, more power, enhance life time and reduce emission in the lubrication system and improve engine performance.

While, the Nynas technology based transformer oil is basically wax-free and has a good flowing feature under low temperature and good heat distribution oil. It is well known for it environment friendly feature.

These technologies were launched today at a seminar on “Environment Friendly and Cost Effective Technology in Lubricants and Power Sector of Bangladesh” held at Pan Pacific Hotel Sonargaon in the capital.

Kazi M. Aminul Islam Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) attended the seminar as chief quest.

Her Excellency Ms. Charlotta Schlyter, Ambassador of Sweden, Dr. Ijaz Hossain, Professor of Chemical Engineering Department of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) also were present in the seminar as special guests.

Mohammed Yousuf, Managing Director of Luff-reff (Bangladesh) presided over the function. The event was also largely attended by distinguished representative from Power, Automotive and Manufacturing sectors.

“Bangladesh has registered a steady growth in last few years. Bangladesh will be a developed country by 2041. In reaching the developed country status, we need billion dollars investment in infrastructure,” said Kazi M. Aminul Islam.

But the investment should be in a such way, where there will be less impact on environment, said Aminul.

Electricity generation of the country has reached 20,000 megawatts and demands and uses of electricity has gone up. As a result, there is huge demands of energy related oils and products, said Aminul.

Lub-rref (Bangladesh) Ltd has brought new technology in the lubricant and transformer oil, which would be environment friendly, he added.

“Considering the users benefits, we have introduced Nano technology as it is more efficient, improves engine performance, reduces fuel consumption up to 5 %, which lowers fuel costs,” said Mohammed Yousuf Managing Director of Lub-rref (Bangladesh) Ltd.

Nano technology based lubricant is environmental friendly and the application has less friction and wear, it also forms a self-repairing protective layer only on interacting surfaces. Since it increases longevity of engine, there is minimal risks commercial, said Yousuf.

On the other hand, the Nynas based Transformer oil is effective in generating electricity in a sustainable and eco-friendly way.

“The electric systems of the future will have to meet the challenge of contributing to a sustainable, reliable and cost-efficient infrastructure, said the Yousuf.

Nynas’ transformer oils are both high-performance and environmentally adapted, they have a low maintenance cost and are 100% recyclable after being used for 50-60 years, he added.

By constantly developing our products, Nynas wishes to play an active role in the ongoing transformation, supplying the industry sustainable solutions, said Yousuf.
