German Business Council (GBC) recently hold a seminar in Dhaka on the National Budget of Bangladesh FY 2022/23. Achim Tröster, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Bangladesh graced this occasion as the Guest of Honor.
GBC, a business trust formed in 2019 to support the German business entity (only) in Bangladesh.
Prominent economists Dr. Fahmida Khatun (Executive Director, CPD) and Dr. Zahid Hussain (Former Lead Economist, The World Bank) attended this seminar as speakers. This seminar was chaired by GBC Trustee Board Chairman Sazzadul Hassan. Other members of the board were also present. Dr. Anantharaman Sivarama Subramaniyan member of the board moderated this seminar. This was a hybrid event where participants joined both online and offline.
