Huawei, a Chinese tech company, will support Bangladesh to generate 40 percent of its power from renewable energy sources.

 

Liang Weixing (Jack), Managing Director of Digital Power, Huawei South Asia, said this at a workshop held in the capital recently, according to a press release.

 

"Huawei South Asia has been taking impactful initiatives in the digital power sector to help the country move towards a more efficient and greener source of energy," said Jack.

 

"Our plan is to promote green energy, which will ultimately help Bangladesh achieve 40 percent power generation from renewable energy sources," he said.

 

Huawei's South Asia Digital Power Department has recently organized a workshop for over 100 solar panel installers to enhance their efficiency.

 

This workshop, titled ‘Huawei Installer Workshop 2023’, will help the installers support the end users' need for solar power solutions. It will also help Bangladesh achieve its renewable energy generation target.
