
Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen has highlighted the plights of people displaced by the impacts of climate change and the need for addressing their vulnerabilities, when he met his Swedish counterpart Ann Linde in Stockholm.
Momen was attending the two-day global Stockholm+50 conference on June 2-3, attended by world leaders and representatives from government, business, international organizations, civil society and youth.
Co-hosted by Sweden and Kenya, Stockholm+50 is taking place under the theme "A healthy planet for the prosperity of all -- our responsibility, our opportunity".
During his meeting with Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde, they agreed to strengthen and expand cooperation to combat climate change.
