The price of regular gasoline increased significantly across the United States as crude oil price topped 58 dollars per barrel recently.

According to a report from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the average regular gasoline retail price increased over 10 cents from the previous week to over 2.65 U.S. dollars per gallon for the week ending September 23.

Meanwhile, crude oil price at The New York Mercantile Exchange, or Nymex, moved above 58 dollars per barrel as worries over Saudi oil supply persists.

For West Coast area in the United States, which includes the states of California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Alaska and Hawaii, gasoline price rose more than 8 cents to about 3.34 dollars per gallon, according to the EIA.
