Under Russia's State Nuclear Energy Corporation - Rosatom’s International Children’s Creativity Project NucKids-2018, fifty six children from different countries including Bangladesh, Belarus, China, Croatia, Egypt, Hungary, India, Turkey, United Kingdom and Russia made their first public appearance with the musical show “The Lomonosov’s Scroll” at the Mihai Babic Culture Center in Szekszárd (Hungary) on August 4.

Shuhaib Hussain, a student of class 6 of Adamjee Cantonment School, Dhaka was the only Bangladeshi participant in the first show, but later joined by Kysan Faraj, student of class 10 of Bangladesh International School and College (BISC) for the subsequent shows in different Russian cities like Ozersk and Snezhinsk and Moscow. Last two shows will take place at Moscow’s Et Cetera Theater on August 15 and 16.

 

The participants were prepared for the performance during last one month under the supervision of producer Vladimir Karabanov, choreographer Maksim Nedolechko, vocal trainer Elena Ustimenko. The musical drama was composed by Ilia Efimov. Andrey Shchaev was the scenery maker and Yana Vologzhanina designed the costumes.

 

Hungarian spectators viewed the spectacular performance which was full of bright musical compositions and dance. Thanks to technical capabilities of the Culture Center, the spectators could see all plans of the creativity team. Unique video projection, light and sound effect made kept the audience spell bound for 80 minutes of performance.

 

“I liked it so much! The beautiful music, perfect dance, fabulous dresses! 80 minutes elapsed too quickly!” said Nikita Ivanov, a representative of the Russian Club in Paks, Humgary.

 

“The main thing in construction of a nuclear power plants is the building of friendship between the people. The NucKids project shares with us the pure kid’s friendship among the people from different countries and culture”, said Antal Kovac, Director of Information of Paks Nuclear Power Plant in Hungary after enjoying the performance.

 

This year the musical plot is not just filled with detective stories and enigmas but  has references to the past as well. The hero of the musical Nil Garin, an art expert and his assistants try to solve the enigma of the Lomonosov’s Scroll. While Nil Garin searched for the mysterious scroll in the modern Moscow, the spectators saw a part of life of the prominent Russian scientist Lomonosov.
