A two-week international camp for children of 12-16 years’ ages successfully ends on June 19, 2018 in Turkey on the Black Sea. 84 children from nine countries, including Bangladesh and their team leaders worked together for a better world in future. The camp was organized by Rosatom School Project, Russia.

During the camp, the Black Sea coastline was transformed into the magical city of “Artville”, with the participation of intellectually talented kids from Egypt, Kenya, Ghana, Russia, Turkey, Hungary, Slovakia and Vietnam along with Bangladesh.

"Rosatom is very proud to make this unique learning experience available to these talented Bangladeshi youths. We firmly believe that innovative and creative practices like Rosatom School help children to gain confidence and reveals their creative potential," said Andrey Shevlyakov, CEO Rosatom South Asia.

Karima Hassan, class 11, Shaheed Bir Uttam Lt. Anwar Girls' College, Rubaisa Akbar, class 8, Mohammadpur Preparatory School & College, Saik Shams, class 9, Mastermind School, Mubashira Mahboob, class 8, Scholastica and Aranyo Rishi Chowdhury, class 7, Greenherald International School represented Bangladesh in the Artville.

Children not only lived together but learned to understand each other and work together, by truly overcoming language and cultural barriers. With the FIFA World Cup-2018 in full swing in Russia, football was certainly one of the most popular “common languages” and dominated their free times spending in Artville. The children also had the opportunity to attend one or more out of the eight entertainment workshops including theatre, dance, street art, animation, landscape gardening, engineering installation, music mixing and photography.

From the first day the children were immersed in multilingual educational and entertainment events, staging their own immersive theater performance, curating personal exhibitions, creating educational quests as well as presenting their national cultures to other participants. Children from Bangladesh excelled in numerous activities including their introduction to “afrodance” at the welcome party.
