Country's leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group’s concern Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd. has started its 4th round nationwide awareness campaign “Safety Campaign”. This initiative has been taken to ensure the ease use of LP Gas. This awareness campaign is going to function throughout the country to increase the demand for LP gas and to ensure its proper household uses.
A total of 100 housewives took part in the program today (Monday) at Radiant Fisht World inCox’s Bazar.Head of Division, Sales Mir TI Faruk Rijvy of the Bashundhara LP Gas Limited was present as the chief guest at the program where famous Film Actress “Popy” was also present.
Addressing the program, Faruk Rijvy said that Bangladesh's No. 1 LP Gas brand Bashundhara LP Gas is organizing such workshops from corporate responsibility. The workshop has been successfully held in 39 districts of the country.” Considering safety of the users, Bashundhara LP Gas Limited has been producing and marketing safe cylinders after proper laboratory tests and maintaining highest standards, said Mr. Rizvy.
He presented the illustrated details of LP Gas's introduction, features, various information-data, precautions for using gas stove etc.
Mr. FarukRizvy also put up different aspects of safety, identifying the substandard cylinders and tackling accidents from leakage and explosion of cylinders.
Film Actress “Popy” was also present in the workshop as a new dimension of the program. She Said “this type of initiatives for women is really appreciable, housewives’ spontaneous participation represents the effectiveness of this workshop”. She highlighted the reasons for the health hazards during the cooking, and she also gave an idea about the way to avoid it.
This campaign will be also held in more districts in addition to Mymenshing, Dhaka and many more districts in near date.
On behalf of Bashundhara LP Gas, Mr. Habibur Rahman, AGM, Sales, Mr. Sariful Islam, Chittagong Divisional Sales Manager, Mr. Arif Siddique, Deputy Manager, Brand & Marketing, Mr. Saifur Azim, Sr. Executive, Brand & Marketing and other senior officials of the Sales and Activation Team along with local distributors and eminent persons were present. The ceremony ends with the quiz participations, exchange of raffle draw, entertainment and greetings.
