City Bank, in association with Global Climate Partnership Fund (GCPF), hosted an event titled 'Green Champion Recognition Ceremony' at the bank's head office recently, according to a statement.
The aim of the event was to recognize the outstanding contribution of customers to the mitigation of climate change where the bank along with GCPF has certified sixteen customers who have achieved energy efficiency in their business.
City Bank's Managing Director and CEO Sohail R. K. Hussain welcomed the guests, saying 'City Bank is highly committed towards environment friendly lending and we will continue to appreciate such green initiatives of our customers'.
Antoine Predour, representative of GCPF also spoke at the event.
