Bangladesh will soon have sufficient electricity to feed industries and homes. Also the country will have sufficient gas as liquefied natural gas will be added in the national grid gas to boost industrial productions including ceramic products.

Dr. Tawfiq-E-Elahi Chowdhury Bir Bikram, Energy Adviser to the Prime Minister said while addressing as the chief guest at the concluding ceremony of the three-day "Ceramic Expo Bangladesh-2017" in Dhaka recently.

Sate Minister for Finance M A Mannan was the special guest on the concluding function of the expo organized by Bangladesh Ceramic Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BCMEA).

The expo was held at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), and Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed inaugurated the expo.

MCMEA President Md. Sirajul Islam Mollah, MP and BCMEA General Secretary and Fair organizing Committee Chairman Irfan Uddin were also present among others at the concluding ceremony.

The expo showcased the country's ceramic products and organised seminars on the manufacture, export and marketing of the items, which has been capturing world market gradually.

Some 60 participants, over 400 international delegates, 50 hosted buyers attended the fair where 100 plus booths with 100 plus brands were set up to showcase the products.
