A total of 800 houses of Awlai union under Panchbibi upazila of the district have been brought under rural electrification network by Joypurhat Palli Biddyut Samity.
Shamsul Alam Dudu, MP, inaugurated the new connection line as the chief guest at a function in the district on the premises of Kadhali Government Primary School recently.
Joypurhat Palli Biddyut Samity implemented the program at a cost of Taka 2.18 crore, said DG Abdur Rouf.
